Premier League Predictions and best bets: Manchester United can beat Southampton without conceding

Our betting expert Jones Knows is positive on both Ipswich and Manchester United this evening. How is he planning to profit?

Ipswich's spike in form will have the likes of Everton and Wolves worried. If Kieran McKenna's side continue to pick up points at their current rate then teams above them may have to hit the 35+ points mark to be safe - it didn't look like that at one stage.

Teams will be looking over their shoulder now.

And I was surprised at Ipswich's price for this one where you can get 4/5 with Sky Bet on the double chance and 5/2 on the home win.

Brighton are an easy team to frustrate - as shown by their run of eight without a win in the Premier League, suffering draws with Leicester, West Ham and Southampton in that run. Ipswich are the bet.

The noise around Ruben Amorim and Manchester United has been so overblown. And this isn't me being an "aftertimer" after their performance at Liverpool and win over Arsenal on penalties.

I have written positively about them, tipping them to win at Liverpool, due to signs of positivity in their underlying process behind the sticky results. The markets have been overreacting.

They are such a harder team to play against under Amorim than under Ten Hag and he's worked out now who he can and can't trust in his starting XI.

The expected goals against data points to that in terms of offering up less quality chances.

They keep the ball with more confidence which restricts teams from sustaining attacks on their goal, while out of possession when pressing in the final third they are winning possession back at a higher strike rate.

They've looked settled and cohesive as a unit in defence. I like the win to nil price at 6/5 with Sky Bet against such a tame Saints outfit.
